Gosh, Chrsi, sounds like you worked on your car this weekend. I had hoped
to but I had a bit of trouble with skiing yesterday, which I won't admit to
*everyone* here, suffice it to say I am a bit sore at the moment and didn't
get much done.
The bent pushrod could be the cause of the tapping sound as it beats against
the side of the guide, and also it could be one cause of the oil leaks.
As it beats against the side of the guide tube it could fracture the tube
and create lots of leaks. I'll follow this up in more detail in personal mail
but replacing the bent pushrod may help several things.
