OK, I was able to remove the balancer bolt by removing the oil pan and laying a 3/8 breakdown bar between the crank and the block. Now this brings up the question for the oil pan gasket. This always seems to be a sore point for leaks in most of my cars. Which type gasket is best? Cork, Rubber, Paper or RTV/Silicone? Anyone have any experience or information to which is best.
