What engine temp do you consider to be normal for a Bricklin? My '75 runs
210 or a little higher at low speeds even on fairly cool days. That always
makes
me feel like it could overheat at any time. Should I just relax and accept
that or has anyone found an effective way to make it run cooler?
Things I have tried are: having the radiator cleaned out, adding an electric
pusher fan in front of the radiator to supplement the engine drive fan,
adding Terry Tanner's air scoop, putting in a new 185 degree thermostat, and
adding water wetter to the coolant.
It cools down to about 190 at highway speed, but at low speed in heavy
traffic it runs at least 210.
