My Bricklin runs 210 degrees in the Texas heat. It sometimes goes a little higher when I am idling at a stoplight. I don't think you can expect much better than that and it really shouldn't be a problem. Depending on your antifreeze mixture and the pressure rating of your radiator cap, the boilover point should be 240 or higher. Running around 210 won't hurt your engine any. As Seth said, many newer cars are designed to run at that temperature. Scott Isensee |
