If you can find yourself an AMC 360 out of an AMC or Jeep you will see that
there is a stock AMC part that the Bricklin AMC's are missing. If you trace
your remote filter lines back to the block you will see where it connects to
the oil pump. If you were to remove the 7 or 8 bolts, the oil pump would come
apart, and then you could replace it with the stock AMC part (that has the
standard oil filter mount...with threads). If this part were on a Bricklin it
would hit something...I cant quite remember what...but probably the crossmember?
