if i put my headlights down manually (my hood extension is not
permanently installed yet), they stay down. since i am in the middle of
the restoration and do not drive the car, i do not know if they would
stay down on the road. my feeling is that they would not. it does not
take much encouragement to get them to pop up if there is no vacuum in
the tank. i think that even a mild bump would result in them popping
up.
