It is frustrating when someone gets your credit card number but I wouldn't
sweat it. You are not responsible for charges you did not authorize. It's
as simple as contacting your bank and signing the affidavit they send you.
But, never use a debit card or a credit card tied to your checking/savings
account anywhere but in person. A thief could drain your account in minutes
and you'll pay hell to get the money back, if at all.

Subject: Fraud at Summit Racing!
I discovered that someone had tried to use my charge
account at Summit Racing to order some expensive parts
for their Honda, without my authorization.
Apparently, Summit has no safeguards to prevent this
from occurring. I closed my account and notified my
local Police Dept. Nothing was charged to my credit
card, but because I had closed it months ago, but it
would have gone through if I hadn't!
Summit said that someone must have found a magazine
with my a/c # and ordered that way. The police are
going to have a "sting" with UPS to get the thief. I
was told the Secret Service now gets involved with
fraud cases.
I no-longer order ANYTHING from Summit!
