Thanks, John. I'll look for one of those thermometers, but I imagine I'll have to wait for some warm weather for the reading to be meaningful. I get cold air for about the first five minutes then the air gets quite warm. I guess that could indicate the coils are freezing or it could also be that, once the radiator gets hot, the condenser can't shed much heat. A leaking heater valve could also be consistent with that. I'll check out the things you suggested. Scott |
