I had the paint and acrylic from #678 removed by sand blasting which worked
out very well. After filling and epoxy priming, the panels look brand new
and should be less likely to exhibit stress cracks in the future. Blasting
is easier if the panels are off the body. Removing just the paint might be
tricky, even with softer media. If you have any "blasting" done make sure
they know what they are doing and test it on a less visible spot. Blasting
can be an expensive operation.

Subject: Bricklin - How do we go about removing paint from acrylic
panels?
Does anyone know of a good way to remove paint from the acrylic body
panels.
I heard that sand blasting them using a soft abrasive works well.
