The AMC 360 is AMC only. The intake interchanges with AMC V8's from
304-401. Early intakes may have minor bolt misalignment on the 2 center
bolts, most aftermarket intakes have these holes slotted. Edelbrock makes
(or made) intakes in both the Performer and Torker series. One thing to make
sure of is that the intake has EGR provisions if you live in a state that
requires smog tests. I have a torker intake sitting on the block in my 74
with the factory carb and drop base air cleaner, and it clears (just barely)
the hood.
You MAY be able to find one of these intakes at a swap meet (I've found a
couple) but they are few and far between. your best bet is a AMC only meet
or one of the amc club websites (are there any?) I don't have one for sale
right now, the one I have is reserved for my 74 project until I decide what
is happening in the engine compartment....it may end up with a 502 big block
or even an all aluminum hemi! or maybe just the 'gennie' engine with cast
iron intake. For now I more projects to finish before I start that one.
