I've about got #768 road ready and noticed that the alternator is inop.
Before I tear it off (it was just rebuilt before I installed the engine) I
have 2 questions. I'm a little rusty on what wires at the alternator or at
the regulator plug you jump to full field the alt. to see if it is putting
out or if it's the reg. Anybody know which ones? Second, again before I go
rip it out, maybe I don't have the wires on the back of the alt. correct.
Can somebody with a '74 look at theirs and tell me the location of the and
colors of their respective wires. It may be that simple. Thanks for any
help.
