The roller part of the 2in bar goes into the vertical channel. The flat bar
slides into the horizontal channel that the window is glued to and is held in
place by a 1/4in bolt that goes through a 1 in. square metal "clip". The
"clip" sits on top of the U of the channel.
FYI, If you check your clips you will see that they are probably bowed in
where the bolt goes through. They should be flat except for two edges that
are bent over the U channel. The reason they are bowed is that they are not
strong enough and tightening the bolt bends them. Eventually they loosen and
the window pops out of the rear track. I did what Terry T. recommended and
that is to cut a square piece of 1/8 in. steel and use it instead of the
clip.
