Hi all,

I have tried not one, not two, not even three, but four times to sell
cars
on e-bay. Not one of those times did the high bidder come through with the
money. If you have not listed a vehicle on e-bay here is basically how it
works. You pay a $25 listing fee and another $25 if your reserve is met. If
the high bidder backs out and does not pay you, e-bay will refund you $25
listing in the form of e-bay credit. They will not refund the $25
reserve-being-met fee. If you want to get the actualcash money back from
e-bay, you need to send them a letter (thru the mail) telling them that and
wait 45 days.
There is no way to force the high bidder to pay you, so you get
screwed. I
am sure that there are plenty of people out there who have had positive
experiances with selling cars on e-bay, but i have never spoken with one.

As an alternative , try listing your car for free on
Classifieds2000.com,
collectorcartraderonline.com or newsgroups.
