Hood Insulation

I need info on what people are using for underhood insulation. I think it was 
originally from a 74 to 75 GM truck but that is no longer available from 
dealers.
There is new stuff now that has the reflective coating on both sides. Has 
anyone used this and does it have any detrimental effects such as overheating?
