Stephan,

I'll see over time if the new scoop breaks. That's certainly a potential 
problem.

Terry says the new scoop is effective even at low speeds like maybe down to 5 
mph. When stopped or in bumper to bumper traffic it can't help airflow, but, 
if it lowers the temps before you hit a traffic jam, it at least buys you 
some time.

The new scoop does effect originality and, in my opinion, doesn't look as 
good as the original one since you now see the radiator and some of the wires 
and hoses which run in front of it.

It is interesting that you have had good luck with the Flex-a-Lite fans. 
Terry's article in the last issue of the Bricklin said electric fans didn't 
help much. That has been my experience as well. I have a single large 
electric fan in front if the condenser and it lowers engine temp less than 5 
degrees. Perhaps your fans push a higher volume of air.
