Hi Seth,

To tell you the truth I don't remember the original carpet that well, it's
been too long.  But I'm not surprised to hear it.  Judging by Todd's
pictures, it seems Salesco did a very good job on fit and finish.  But it's
hard to tell these things by a couple of photos.  I can tell you that TT's
carpet, even the "new" run is, well, It's not for me, neither in fit or
finish.
What I like about the Salesco stuff is that there are a lot of options, so
getting a less absorbent carpet is possible.   Yes, there are independent
upholsterers that can make a custom carpet, one I know of that uses the
finest English wool if you want, but perhaps this is not suitable for the B.
I think giving Salesco the opportunity to measure the fit from the car is
the best bet, not using the old carpet.
