You have a problem. :-)
If you hadn't said no 1-wire, then a nippondenso or something would do the
trick. I had Grand auto give me the wrong alt once for my old Toyota
tercel. The one thay gave me was higher amp, and only needed one wire, then
one I had had an external reg. I crammed it in (had to get to the races in
San Jose that night) and it outlived the car...now resides temporarily in my
'74 Spitfire. Not sure how many amps it kicks, but I could probably weld
with it in a pinch. <grin>
A 74 B made at the end of 75....sounds like Ol' Malcom was half british or
something.
