Dear Desperate:
I have to assume that you have already checked the lines for kinks and
obstructions (including any on the top (vent) of the cylinders. One thing
that I found that I never expected was a chunk of Teflon tape that had come
off a fitting (One of many poor repairs by previous owner)and became logged
in the port of a solenoid. no wonder the damn thing wouldn't work. I have
since gone through and removed all the tape, replaced the lines, rebuilt all
the solenoids and now am ready for the doors to work. All I have to do is
put the new skins on and hang them! I used a liquid Teflon pipe sealant from
Loctite. I have used it for years and it works great and best of all it is
removable and controllable. Hope this helps.
