They Fit! The damn things just dropped right in. Even though you can
hardly tell any difference between manufactures in a side by side
comparison, the difference in actual fitting is substantial. The passenger
side drops right in once the starter cable is simply moved forward, and the
drivers side only needs a very small notch cut into the collector flange.
Thanks to Harris Mustang for very speedy delivery. The cost of the headers
including COD charges came to $154.36 which is pretty cheap. The overall
construction is good at this price. They will now receive a coat of Hi temp
finish, then wrapped in thermo-tec, and then finally several coats of hi
temp paint. There will be some heat shielding used between the exhaust and
the floor pan, tranny, and speedo cable.
