Anyone in NewYork with Inspection/Emission Information?

Hello,
   I am planning on moving to NewYork (New York City to be exact) in the next
year.
   I found on the motor vehicles administration web page that the vehicle does
not have to be emissions inspected but I am unsure of Safety Inspections /
Historic tags etc...
   Can someone that lives in New York please email me with information on state
vehicle laws (as they apply to a Bricklin)
