I replaced my carpet and seat upholstery with original style ones from Terry
Tanner. Neither was very difficult to do. I am not sure what the current price
is. When you replace the carpet, it is a good idea to put some
insulation/sound deadening material underneath it. You can replace the seats
with ones from other cars if you don't care about originality, but that may
decrease the value of your car some. When you pull the seats apart, take a
good look at the frame. It can rust on cars which have had water leakage. You
may want to reinforce the seat frame and you should certainly put some form of
rustproofing on it while you have the seat apart. You don't want your seat to
rust away or break apart in an accident.
