Don't know if anyone cares, but I've finally gotten a chance to turn a wrench
or should I say clamp on 887. I mounted the radiator core support and
welded in the pass. side sill plate. I still have to cut out the rear inner
piece of metal from the door opening to the rear deck and weld in a new piece
(which my dad made last night). Then today after welding in the pass side
sill plate I cut the drives side sill plate out. Now tomorrow I'll spend
a couple of hours under the car with the grinder cleaning up what's left
of the "A" & "B" pillar. With any luck I'll have both sill plates in and
finished sometime this weekend.
With any real luck, I might even be in a position to try and put the body
on the chassis between Christmas and New Years. What a way to start off
the New Year!!!!
