I just took 2157 for its first ride since I bought it in April.
However, when I pulled in the driveway, I could not open the doors
from the console controls. Trapped... I had just put my rear hatch
back on, and the seal at latch point is so tight, that the cable release
will not open it unless someone is applying downward pressure at the
latch. I guess I will shim the latch hook to reduce pressure.
Finally, my wife came out and freed me, the outside switches work fine.
The console switches do function correctly on the down stroke.
Each driver switch has a pink wire and a white one. There are many
unused connectors that I am in need of knowledge. Currently, not used
are 2-Lt. Blue, 2- Orange, 2 Double pink, and 2-Double white connectors.
Does anyone know the proper hookup? After this problem, I am ready for
state inspection!
As Always, Thanks for the help- Jeff Wynn
