That's not quite how mine work. Mine have an air pressure regulator
common to both open solenoids -- that is adjusted to control opening
speed (2 seconds). For closing, there is a bleed screw on the outlet of
the close solenoids. When activated, the solenoid opens fully but the
speed at which the air is released is controlled by the amount that
screw is opened. It should take 2 seconds to come gently down. Kim
