Mine leaked into the power booster. When I replaced the one on 1609, NAPA had
to match it up using a book which had pictures of all the different
variations. They didn't have listings for the three reference numbers I had. I
was told rebuild kits were not available anymore. I hope you are not going to
drive it until it is fixed. Since you need to replace the cylinder(s), I
wouldn't worry about rust.

Subject: mushy brakes
stepped on brakes and brake light came on. low on fluid in front
reservoir. must be a leak somewhere ? am not sure which front brakes
(kelsey hayes or bendix ) this is why i gave the serial no. of the car
previous as 1749. tech information says early or late 1975 cars but
nothing about being built in the middle of the year. would like to order
seals for master cylinder and brakes but which make model do i specify ?
do i temporarily fill the reservoir if slow leak to avoid any rusting out
?
