The website could be the best thing that ever happened to BI. I was a
member of BI several years ago, but let it lapse because it simply did
not furnish what I wanted. I am not interested in shows or social
events, I simply wanted a source of technical information. After
purchasing the shop manuals and such, the annual cost of BI was just too
much for only the technical content of the Brickline.
When I found the Bricklin website a few months ago, it really was in its
infancy and did not initially have a great deal of appeal for me. Now
that I am on the mailing list and the technical content of the website
is outstanding, I am really enthused about getting my Bricklin running
and driving it again. I would never have done this only from BI and
Brickline alone! The more information and promotion for Bricklins (on
the web or elsewhere), the better it is going to be for BI because it
will create interest (and value) in purchasing, collecting and driving
the Bricklin automobile.
