Well Joe, let`s see if I can be of help to you.
I own a 74 Bricklin (#466), and heve been using it as my daily driver ( for
the most part) for about a year. (1) The car is no fun in a rain storm,
(2)small practically insignificant parts that break can be a bear to find,
(3) you have to be paranoid in a parking lot (heaven forbid something happen
to it, see point 2, (4) it gets hot in there.
those are most of the bad points.
Good points; (1) You would be driving a piece of limited production history,
(2) the doors get lots of attention, (3) Everybody wants to know what it is,
and (4) These cars are a lot of fun to drive.
I was lucky enough to find a driveable car too, thats not to say I haven`t
had to do a lot of work on it though. The fact that I`m a mechanic has helped
a lot, but without my fellow Bricklin owners here, it would have been a lot
harder to do.
Brick-people are a pretty good (and exclusive) brotherhood to belong to.
Hope that was helpfull, let us know if you buy the car!
Carl
