Most often these messages are from lack of editing.  At the bottom of 
each real time
message ( not the digest ) there is a quick unsubscribe link. Usually 
only the recipient
sees it.  But when people reply and do not edit out this info, everyone 
on the planet
can see it.  Sometimes random people click on other people's link just 
to be annoying.
Maybe someone wants to get off the list and click on the wrong link 
because they are
confused.  Or maybe this person in Santaquin really was offended by your 
message,
who really knows for sure?
