Monday (last) we were expecting a bit of weather here up north (Willard).
Also, that was the day scheduled to take the MGB down to the shop to have
the new seats (to get new wrappings) and some trim installed. Never mind
that it was raining with some snow. I left and caught breakfast at
McDonalds and then made my way to the shop. I took my Model A Roadster
Pick up out of the shop (fresh top and side curtains) and drove the MGB in.
After driving home in the Model A I have to say how great three wipers on
the windscreen and a heater is and also how water tight the MGB is. The new
top and side curtains on the A did hold out most of the water but it was
cold.
I took the model A out for a drive up to Brigham today and was almost blown
off the road from the 40mph winds. It is fun to drive these old cars on
nice days but on the bad days I think I will just stay home.. The MGB
should be in the shop for about a month. I look forward to getting some
"snow" shots (provided the roads are dry) in between Christmas and New
Year's Day.
I have one car that is a "garage queen," My goal is to be sure that the MGB
and the Hot Rod do not end up parked all winter long..

Subject: [Bmcu] LBC's for Lunch
Sure was nice Wednesday. Perfect for getting the LBC out for a drive and
meeting for lunch. I hope some one else did, also.
