Although I have not yet registered my Midget=2C the plain language of the s=
tatute appears to encompass anything but a daily driver. I don't believe t=
hat the DMV will press you to hard on it.=20
41-21-1(2)(a) "Vintage vehicle" means a motor vehicle that is 30 years old=
 or older=2C from the current year=2C primarily a collector's item=2C and u=
sed for participation in club activities=2C exhibitions=2C tours=2C parades=
=2C occasional transportation=2C and similar uses=2C but that is not used f=
or general daily transportation.

I hope this isn't a dumb question=2C but has anyone taken advantage =
of the recent change in the law regarding antique/vintage vehicle registrat=
ion? My '71 now qualifies=2C and my regular registration expires in a coupl=
e weeks. I had intended to switch it to the antique classification=2C but w=
as concerned about the stipulation that the car be driven "occasionally". D=
o members of the club have experience with the proverbial spirit and letter=
of the law on this? I drive the "B" when it is nice out=2C which means pro=
bably 10x per month during the warm months of the year. More than just to c=
lub events=2C parades or car shows=2C but not 365 days per year.=20
