Also, there will be a lack of shade, so if you need some, bring some. And
Gary, don't forget about the Axe toss at the Jaguar XK-120 competition!

Subject: Reminder: Utah Highland Games next Sat. 6/11
Have you ever seen the movie Braveheart? Have you ever had the urge to
pick up and telephone pole and see how far you could throw it? Or just
park your Britmobile in a beautiful park and go enjoy British foods,
maybe even sample some different whiskys? Along with
traditional Scottish and Irish dancing groups, Pipe bands galore and of
course our very own lovely cars on display for all to see and enjoy.
This years Highland Games should be a real treat to see. We have been
invited to return to this years events on Saturday June 11th from 9 AM
to 5 PM at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah. Take the Alpine / Highland
(287) west bound exit off I-15 you will see it all from the freeway.
Added besides "free" admission, is anyone who will bring a car for the
duration is invited to attend the whisky tasting event on Friday night,
also they are invited to attend the Friday night concert, and Saturday
night concert for free if they bring their car for the entire day
(Saturday). We will be setting up a BMCU base camp next to our cars (for
recruiting and sales). This is a big event, many folks come from out of
state and country too. Please join us for a great day of fun and
culture, come find your roots! Kilts are welcome!
Late breaking news: we have requested a spot away from the Pipe Band
warm up area, and Mitch Johnson is arranging a Land Rover axle toss.
