Remember folks, the annual BMCU dinner is coming up this saturday. It is
a potluck affair, with Karen and myself acting as coordinators of sort as
to what to bring. So give us a ring at 364-3251, or you can email me,
mjb@britishmotorclub.org, with your preferences. Basically we need items
in the following categories:
Hardware - Cups, plates, utensils, napkins, etc.
Beverages - soft drinks; those who prefer wine or beer bring their own.
Appetizers - chips, dip, veggie trays, mushroom caps stuffed with proscuitto
and capers, etc.
Salads - Green, pasta, potato, spicy marinated bay scallops and bell peppers
on a bed of spinach, etc.
Entrees - Soups, chili, lasagna, breaded pork cutlets with an onion & chipotle
marmalade, etc.
Side dishes - rolls & butter, corn, baked beans, garlic mashed potatoes with
a sour cream and feta cheese topping, etc.
Desserts - cakes, cookies, fruit, warm bread pudding with a tangy bourbon
sauce, etc.
I'll probably make a crab quiche or two, perhaps another variety as well,
unless I do a big pot of chili or seafood stew or ....
We've got one pasta salad lined up, a spice cake, and not much else as of
monday evening. So give us a call or send us an email, we'd like to have
plenty for all, don't want anyone to go home hungry!
