The Club Racing Drivers School that SFR puts on every year to license
regional drivers is way under subscribed this year. The school is scheduled
for Feb 27, 28 and March 1. It uses the short track at Thunderhill for the
training course.
I have proposed that we fill in the gap with an SCCA Time Trial called PDX.
This is basically a Track Day under SCCA Sanction. This will happen on
Saturday Feb 28 and Sunday Mar 1.
This is the info:
You must be an SCCA Member.
We would prefer Solo experienced drivers.
Cost is $125 per day with 4-20 minute sessions each day.
Limited to 20 drivers per day.
I would like to set it up so track day experienced drivers run
on Sunday and non experienced drivers run on Saturday.
Cars will be limited to the following Solo classes: Stock, SP, ST and SM.
No Prepared or Mod as the tech requirements are more difficult to enforce
for those cars.
Open cars will require legal roll bars or a factory secured hardtop.
If you would like to instruct for this and have the necessary experience let
me know as well
