Hot Summer Nights
Come July, Danville heats up with Hot Summer Nights. The 4-day car show series
featuring a
fleet of luxury mobiles, vintage autos and hotrods on display on Hartz Avenue
draws the
biggest and most diverse crowds of the year to downtown.
The shows sponsored by the Danville Merchants Association planned for 4 to 9
p.m. July 13 and 27 and August 10 and 24. Street closures typically begin
about 2 p.m. I believe this a 1960 and earlier show but is a lot of fun to go
to.
