BLOOD DRIVE
Monday, April 17th - 8 a.m. Noon
Cooper will be checking into the hospital on Wednesday, April 19th and it is
anticipated that he will need many blood and platelet transfusions during the
transplant phase of his Neuroblastoma treatment.
For this drive the UCSF bloodmobile will be located at:
6140 Stoneridge Mall Road
Pleasanton, CA 94588
They can accommodate 3 donors every 15 minutes. If youre able to donate,
please contact Sharyl or Dave at 925-551-7792 or by email at profam@comcast.net
by this Thursday, April 12, and your name and desired donation time will be
added to the schedule. Cooper can only use CMV negative blood of types A and O
+ or -. If you dont know your type or CMV status, please donate as all blood
will be tested.
If you want to donate, but are not available on April 17th, donations are
always accepted at the Blood Center across the street from UCSF in San
Francisco (500 Parmassus, West Level 1, Room MU09 next to Subway Sandwiches);
hours: M-F 8 a.m. 6:45 p.m. and Sat. 9 a.m. 3:45 p.m.)
