Practice Event- January 29 at Oakland

Hello autocrossers,
   
  Well, the long wait for the beginning of the 2006 Championship Series is 
about over. However, to get our cars and mindsets back into 'gear', there will 
be a practice event this coming Sunday at Oakland. Participation is open only 
to SCCA members with new timing equipment and a new 6 run group format as new 
changes.
  
The Steering Committee, under the direction of its fearless leader Ed Runnion, 
will be acting as event chair(s). As usual, early morning setup workers will be 
requested.
   
  Please check the club website for details and note the changes in the run 
format.
   
  Clear skies and warm weather are predicted.
