They used to call drifting "spinning out". I developed
it to a find art form. I felt confined by autocross
lines. I wanted to break out. I wanted to express my
creativity on the pavement, but no, they said. There's
no such thing. DNF for you! I was misunderstood.

I was a drifter before it was cool.
