My car was acting a little strange Sunday- there was a lot more mid corner
understeer than I am used to, but the most distressing thing was towards the
end of corner entry the rear would let loose suddenly. Then I was driving
at some crazy slip angle out of the corner. If I slowed down more the car
just wasn't turning in, even if I got on the gas. It took full throttle out
of the turn pretty well, just understeered mid corner and oversteered on
entry.
So I am guessing I don't have enough rear bar, not enough front bar, or some
weird thing with the shocks. Someone suggested more compression in front or
less rebound in back. My first runs I was locking a rear tire first, but I
dialed it down with my prop valve so a front would lock first. However I
wonder with my dual master I was getting too much rear bias late in the
corner (I tend to trail brake heavily).
I moved and rewelded the frame parts last week that I thought might be
hitting on the control arms- so that shouldn't be it.
Thanks for any ideas,
James
