RE: Bridge in Napa collapses. There's an auto racing tie-in here. The contractor, C.C. Meyer of Rancho Cordova, CA, first gained fame for its effort in rapidly rebuilding a southern Cakifornia freeway which had collapsed in an earthquake. Then C.C. Meyer built Pikes Peak Int'l Raceway in Fountain, CO. The track is used by USAC and NASCAR. The parking lot is used by Colorado Region SCCA for autocross events. -John Kelly |
