Is there gonna be a Street Tire class at this event? I didn't think there was 
but I just thought I'd ask.

Running one day will not help in an SFR points chase. The total will be 
probably the one day's time added to 99 seconds. :(
However, if you miss this event because of the economies of overnight motel
costs, tire costs, or whatever, the point penalty will be only the loss of
one event, not two. A good thing.
