re: the Kellys' experience - Many cars don't have sufficient range in their
Stock alignment ranges to avoid bad negative camber at the limit. Put a set of
Hoosiers, which I've been told will wear significantly faster than Kumhos, on a
surface with exceptional grip, so that the car is leaned over even more than
usual, and it's a recipe for very focused tire wear. Cord time will not be far
away. Based on this sort of comment, I bought Kumhos for my time in Stock.
Fancy shocks wouldn't help that much as they only change the transition roll,
not the final lean angle.
