Sounds like two different problems. Candlestick is extreme in it's bumps and
ridges, but it's not unique.
A slight but longish grade at CalExpo bit us last year.
Obstacles in the area where a car is likely to go off is always a concern.

Worse than that, I've never been able to figure out why my car sometimes spins
to a tight little stop and othertimes goes sliding off forever. I've had it do
both on McClellan asphalt and Mather concrete. Then there was the time KK drove
it through the weeds near a semi hidden fire hydrant. No pucker, just
resignation followed by relief (that KK wasn't hurt, of course, the car is
disposable).
