Alright, i stand corrected on the use of rollbars on your wacky roadsters.
Still the point remains if theres no risk for impact to rollbar tubing, no
need for a SA.

In a Miata, you can most definitely whack a helmeted or unhelmeted head
against a roll bar in an autox. And many drive around without roll bar
padding. I speak from first hand experience.
