Along these same lines...

What kills stored tires?
    exposure to air
    moisture
    light/UV
    being unmounted from wheels
    being mounted on wheels
    wrapped in plastic
    unwrapped

How long can one reasonably store?
    R compounds
    "normal tires"


The only thing I know for certain kills tires is
letting them sit on a motionless car for several
years. ;)
