For owners of Japanese cars, the only consumables are gas, oil & brake
pads. For owners of German cars, they don't care because the dealer does
it all for them. If you ask an American car owner, what portions of the
drivetrain are considered "consumable" depends on whether you ask a Ford
or a Chevy owner.
