Another data point: I ran my old car (BMW) with Michelin Pilot SX MXX3 N2
tires for about 30 events, the majority at GGF, with no problems and about
1/2 tread wear. These tires were more heavily loaded than the problem
Conti's. And they were faster, I think. They cost about $80 more per tire
than the Conti's.
