SONOMA, Calif. - Infineon Raceway will be featured on the popular San
Francisco-based show, "Bay Area Backroads," on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m.
(PST). The 30-minute program, which can be found on KRON-TV (Channel 4) in
the Bay Area, will be devoted to the theme of "speed."
Host Doug McConnell and crew spent two days at the track in September
filming segments for the show, which will include stories on the Infineon
Raceway Karting Center, Wednesday Night Drags program, the Jim Russell
Racing Drivers School and on-site tenants. Viewers will also have a chance
to see the Toy Story 2 stock car of John Lasseter, Academy Award winner and
executive vice president of Pixar Studios. This car was previously driven
by NASCAR Winston Cup driver Johnny Benson.
