Charlie: No doubt the quality of your coursewalk not only informs the newbies, but also encourages them to come out again as they begin to understand the various techniques and theory. Great if you can do it, but honestly its quite a time commitment over a whole season, especially if you start the newbie process at the reg. table. Maybe a novice mentoring committee ? Seems to be up to the individual event chairs to organize a novice coursewalk. If the current procedure is ok, so be it. Don |
