Jim is technically, well, wrong.  An event is any proceeding put on 
under the auspices of the SFR SCCA Solo2 program.  A round is a points 
event in one of the season series.  For example, a school or practice 
would be an event, but not a series round.
He's mostly right about the other stuff.  ;)
