Hey, can anyone tell me what time the gates are open for the Boondoggle? Frank
needs to know what time he and our volunteer staff can begin their course
building work. He was hoping for 7 a.m.
Also, I'd like to be able to consult with Charlie Davis and anyone else who
works in safety. I'd like the course set up so that the motorhome will be
relatively close to registration, and also so that those in the paddock (as
well as course and grid, but really the paddock) can clearly hear the PA
system. This is something that Frank, our safety stewards, and I should all
get in order first, so we don't have LAST YEAR'S disaster, again.
Also, will it be possible to, um, get the motorhome delivered on time this
year? :) I live in Marin, so it's almost impossible for me to do it. And I'm
scared of heights anyway. Don't ask.
Also, I've got about eight or so course crew people signed on. Complete info
for this crew will follow shortly. Any more volunteers? We even, and I can't
believe this, have a volunteer for Work Tech All Day. This person will receive
EXTRA Boondoggle Bucks.
You might be wondering what Boondoggle Bucks are. Well, we haven't gotten far
enough in the event's development to really know yet.
But anyone who can convince Peggy and Dennis Hale to come run this event AND
make us all laugh like they do at the NASA events will also receive Boondoggle
Bucks. Dennis will receive Boondoggle Bucks just for coming!
Thanks!
Katie
